    Description

You turn the crank and it does move all that screen. It didn't come with an owners manual but it appears you hang two bags on the end opposite the hopper, turn the crank, and the small spuds fall through and fall out to the side, the bigger ones go over the end into the bags. The hopper folds in when not in use. It has the brass tag with Thompson Manufacturing Co,Greeley Colorado, patent dates May 4,1926,Dec 7,1926,Aug 7,1928. It's about 91" long with the hopper folded in,101" with the hopper out, body 29" wide, over the shaft for the crank it's 30" or a little more wide. About 48" tall. There is an extra piece of screen wired to a leg brace if needed. The rollers the thing is sitting on are not included. Greeley is only 50 miles South of the present location so hopefully it gets back down there. I suppose this thing could be for something besides potatos, but what that would be is unknown.
