    1945 4th Air Force Flyers program -
This is a great Armistice Day program from a battle of Army Air Corps football squads at the LA Coliseum in 1945.  The US was just getting back to peacetime, and a number of notable pro players were still in the service and played in this game.
The program has photos of the players on both teams as well as the team rosters and scouting reports on both the Comets and Flyers.
The Comets starters included - George Freese, Pete Franceschi, Russ Fechter, Joe Margucci, John Crawford and Dick Horne.
The Flyers lineup featured - John Strzykalski, Forrest Hall, Dick Renfro, Gene Meeks, John Harrington and Nick Susoeff.
