Up for auction is an antique English Sterling silver salt cellar with cobalt blue glass insert, London, Thomas Nash I?, 1774.
Openwork design on claw feet.
Hallmarked on the bottom. Makers mark unreadable but most likely
Thomas Nash I.
It measures 3.18" ( 8,1 cm ) x 2.51" ( 6.4 cm ) and 2" high. ( 5,2 cm )
Total weight is 6.63 oz ( 189 grams )
Only Silver weight is 1.72 oz ( 49 grams )
It is in overall good but used condition. There is a small piece of silver missing, part of the connection between base and openwork is loose - see photo.
