Up for Auction is a EXCELLENT PAIR 1939 ADIE BROS CELTIC DESIGN STERLING SILVER SALT CELLAR BOWLS. Part of a fine collection of Sterling Silver and Silver Plate from all over the world, listed this week.  Be sure to check our other auctions and save greatly with combined shipping.
This is a very fine and most desirable pair of Art Deco period English Sterling Silver Salt Cellar Bowls. The Salt Cellars are fully Hallmarked for the fine English Silversmiths Adie Bros, Birmingham, Sterling Silver and the Date letter for 1939.  Adie Bros most popular design is known as Celtic pattern, which these are with great designs throughout as seen. The Salters are also marked for the luxury goods store Mappins of Montreal Canada so you know the quality is top notch.  Great pair for display in a collection or for modern use with salt or other spices.
Condition
: The pair is in fine condition with no repairs or losses. There is some very minor surface wear which I am sure you can buff out if you wish as we only lightly hand polish our items.  Glass is excellent and free of any chips or cracks.
Size & Weight
: Each cellar measures approx. 1-3/4 inches tall by 2 inches across. The two Sterling Silver bowls alone have a combined weight of 84 grams.
