    Description

    I purchased this new from REI in June 2021 when my son walked the Appalachian Trail for a week.  He never had to use it but it gave me peace of mind that he could send a SOS in case he needed it.  It does require a "service plan" through Garmin which I purchased just for one month. You will have to purchase a subscription to use the device, but it worth it for peace of mind.
