Goodnow & Jenks Sterling Silver .925 Salt & Pepper Shakers Antique Boston.
Very nice pair of antique sterling silver salt and pepper shakers by Goodnow & Jenks. This was the most high end silver firm in Boston at the end of the 19th century. Clean condition minus the finial of one being just a tiny bit pushed in. I think it could be tapped gently from the inside to pop it back out by an amateur. A jeweler could do it easily. It never bothered me and I left it as is. A couple of the ridges have a very slight wave in them. Otherwise in perfect condition. Very heavy for shakers at 127g total. Own this beautiful set today!
