    Description

    This is an original program for the Iowa Hawkeyes versus Illinois Fighting Illini football game played on November 2, 1946 at Iowa Stadium in Iowa City, Iowa. This was the annual Homecoming game for Iowa. The Fighting Illini (#11 AP) defeated Iowa 7-0 en route to a Big Nine Conference championship and Rose Bowl victory over UCLA. The Hawkeyes were led by halfback Bob Sullivan. The program is in good condition with some staining on the cover. The spine is in rough shape. No pages are falling out. I did not go page by page to limit further handling. The program will be sandwiched between rigid cardboard flats inside a bubble mailer to protect the corners from damage.
