ll the parts fitted to the shell are quite rare to find, and are of what you would call ‘A’ as it has a hose and not a brass tube which that would of been a ‘B’ type, the shell is a newer addition and was originally a orange plastic unit which is a shame that it is not complete original but units of this age are rarely original finds, the parts I have would have been a type KMB 9 that is because of the side block configuration (bottom feed) and oblong square the previous units KMB 8 & 81/2 had a more circular appearance and the frame was a bit different.
It is a heavy-duty commercial diving band mask that is essentially the front half of a SuperLite 17B diving helmet mated to a wet hood by a stainless steel two-piece band and held in place on the diver's head by a head harness ( "spider" ). The spider harness is not included Designed for heavy duty surface-supplied industrial-commercial diving work,There are no cracks or any issues that interfere with the functionality of the scuba mask. all of the electrical wires where hooked up inside of the mask, I unplugged to disinfect and wipe down the inside It looks like there are some wires that are cut on the outside of the mask looks like it might be where you would hook up a communication device so that will have to be replaced.(refer to last picture for damage) I found this scuba mask inside of a storage locker I won at auction. It is In great condition and doesn't looked to be used much. please look at the pictures for condition you are receiving the exact one in the picture. please look at the last picture for the cut wires I was talking about earlier. this is a very solid scuba mask in very good condition just needs a little adjustments to be fully functional.
