This is your opportunity to own a very rare, meticulously rebuilt and maintained MK15.5 electronically-controlled closed circuit rebreather. These systems were developed by Biomarine for the US Navy's EOD divers, and are a fusion of the venerable MK15 design with the current-generation MK16, which is in use by military forces around the world.  There were only ~25 MK15.5 systems ever made, and those who know rebreathers know that this was the pinnacle of CCR design.  With upgraded electronics, these are the best performing and most reliable rebreathers on the planet.
This particular unit has been brought up to modern standards, fully.  It is in perfect shape and has been with me for many memorable dives.  The black shell lid proudly wears the rust stains from many a deep shipwreck penetration.  Here are a few details, which make this particular MK15.5 one-of-a-kind (see link above for additional pictures of these details):
JJ-CCR bailout valve (BOV) with Cooper breathing hoses
Custom machined Cooper hose adapters for the center section (hose nuts machined from Monel for full corrosion resistance)
Custom backplate & harness cut/shaped/welded from an OxyCheq travel plate to fit the MK15.5 chassis without covering the counterlung vent holes
DiveRite CCR XT wing (perfect fit for the MK15.5 frame)
Completely rebuilt Swagelok & 316 stainless steel hard-plumbing for internal gas distribution lines
New submersible pressure gauges with MiFlex HP lines
Offboard bailout gas block manifold with Swagelok double shut-off quick disconnect fittings on left side of chassis
Locking quick-change mount for light canister on right side of chassis
Two Inconel gas spheres in excellent condition
UNIQUE and unusual:  Inconel MK16 first stage regulators (replaces Sherwood brass regulators from MK15 series)
Laguna Research electronics: full form-and-function replacement/upgrade of oxygen control/monitoring system.  Includes universal display/controller (UDC) secondary (fully independent), "horseshoe board" gas sensor mount & wiring harness (uses standard R22-type low voltage O2 sensors), central control module (CCM) with heads-up-display and intelligent light display (ILD).
In addition to the configuration described above, I'm selling this system with a large number of extras, spares, and consumables (see link above for pictures).  Many of these are custom parts that are difficult or impossible to find separately:
Spare counterlung with OPV - kept sealed in a plastic bag away from sunlight.  It is in perfect condition.
New, unused set of Cooper breathing hoses
New, unused replacement Porex hydrophobic membranes for CO2 scrubber
Lead "pizza weight" trim weight that can be fitted between the backplate/harness and the chassis as needed
Spare Swagelok gas filter elements/seals
New, unused spare stainless steel internal gas distribution lines with welded face-seal connectors
New mouthpiece & mushroom valves for BOV
Spare "horseshoe board" and UDC control/display board for Laguna Electronics control system
Binder of manuals, checklists, and instructions for MK15.5 hardware and Laguna Electronics controllers.
Note:
Proper training is REQUIRED prior to diving this system.  It will be the buyer's responsibility to obtain the necessary instruction.  I can recommend several excellent instructors for MK-series CCR's.
