Phrobis lll M9 military knife 3rd generation regular M sheath stone pouch.

Phrobis III military knife / bayonet. First Gulf War Era. Phrobis is the first manufacturer of the M9.
This one is the 3 line version, 3rd generation regular M stamp.  Blade is good, with in and out of the scabbard wear to the bead blasted finish.  Maybe some mild sharpening to the factory edge.  Blade edge good..Scratches on the bead blasted finish also...  Grip shows wear, guard and latch plate show loss of finish,  Latch plate smooth and cutter plate has wax on it....I do not know why but I. have several like this. Wax will wipe off. You cans an area where I rubbed some off to the side of the pin.
Sheath has the correct Bianchi clip, snaps show wear to the painted finish cutter plate is good with some loss of finish at the high points.  Stone is there and looks unused.  Scabbard body has some minor dings and scuffs and scratches.Stone is there but has a chip in one corner.  snaps work fine but show loss of the black finish
This is an issued item, that has been in the field.  It shows the wear of that experience.
