This listing is for a lovely hexagonal shaped Sterling Silver pedestal salt cellar made by Rogers, Lunt & Bowlen in the first quarter of the 20th Century.
The hexagonal shaped body has a banded outside border and narrows at it reaches the stem and then widens out in a hexagonal shape at the base. Salt cellar has a fancy 3-letter monogram "L B N". Marked "Sterling, L" with the trademark stamp of Rogers, Lunt & Bowlen in Greenfield MA used from 1901-1935 at which time the name was changed to Lunt Silversmiths.
Measures 1 3/8" high and 2" wide (flat side to flat side at top). Weighs 20 grams. This nice salt cellar is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minor signs of normal wear with one tiny ding below rim.
