    ~  DESIRABLE DUTCH PAIRING  ~
Set of Four Vintage Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Salt Spoons & Royal Copenhagen Blue Gemina Getrud Vasegaard Salt Cellars in Original Box
Four Individual Sterling Silver Salt Spoons
    :
By noted Danish silversmith Georg Jensen (1866-1935)
Pattern is "Cypress" or "Cypres" which was designed in 1953 by Tias Eckhof
Each salt spoon measures approximately 2-7/8" in length
Spoons are in very nice vintage condition with no dings, dents or other issues.  You may clean these with silver polish if you desire.
Four Fabulous Ceramic Individual Salt Cellars or Dishes
    :
Branded by Royal Copenhagen ~ Denmark
Artist is Getrud Vasegaard (Danish 1913-2007) one of the top designers for Bing and Grondahl and Royal Copenhagen; she even had her own workshop
Pattern is "Gemina," which is noted for simple light colored bases and uncomplicated
    blue decorations, which is h
ighly reflective of Vasegaard's highly desirable simplified and modernistic style
Each cellar measures approximately 1-5/8" tall and 1-7/8" in diameter
Cellars are in very nice vintage condition with no chips, cracks or other damages.  The intensity of the blue decorations vary among these four pieces which is typical of vintage and antique hand painted ceramics.  The dark spot on the fourth cellar as shown in the first photo is actually under the glaze and is not the result of damage.
    Original Presentation Box:
All pieces are still housed in the original presentation box or case which boasts a hard black exterior.  The hinged lid opens to reveal a centered "Georg Jensen" logo on the off white satin lined lid.  The bottom inside portion safely houses the spoons and cellars in a striking teal blue velvet cushioned tray.  The exterior of the box has some dings, dents, scratches and stains commensurate with age and storage while the inside top liner has some staining and marks also indicative of a vintage set, as well as many decades of enjoyment.
Fabulous Danish collectible and superb gift of distinction!
