    Description

    TBO-2 Pipe Border Binocular. The device is designed to monitor ground and air targets, to determine angular coordinates of targets from stationary and temporary observation points in daytime and at night using standard lighting means. The design of the device allows you to change the direction of observation in the horizontal plane by 360o, in the vertical plane from -20o to + 60o. It is possible to install the device on a tripod or rack. The device was in service with the Russian army of the North Caucasus district and was used during the first Chechen war.  Inscriptions of fighters who served in the border troops and took part in the Chechen war were scratched on the device. The first prism from a strong kinetic impact (shell rupture) is damaged on binoculars. The second prism is in perfect condition.
