Vintage Indiana Tiara Ruby Red
Sandwich Tall Glass Handled Basket
Tall Sandwich handled glass basket in ruby red made by Indiana Glass for Tiara Exclusives. The basket stands about 10 inches tall to the top of the handle. The opening measures 4 inch diameter. Although this sandwich pattern represents the Duncan & Miller sandwich pattern, the tall handled basket is not from an old mold. The ruby red color was only produced for a couple of years in the early 1970s.
Tiara Exclusives was started by Indiana Glass of Dunkirk, Indiana and the products were sold on a 'party plan' like Tupperware. This basket has no cracks. Only a small flake on the base, otherwise perfect.
