The nib is from the Master Series and is Extra Fine.
The bladder is soft and supple.  This pen is guaranteed to write.
The nib is inscribed "Esterbrook 9550 Made in USA.
"  It is tipped with "osmiridium" for a smoother writing experience.
The SJ is 1/4" shorter than its big brother "J," and slightly slimmer.
This is a beautiful pen.
