Ruby Red Dewdrop Glass Basket Signed
Large Tiara Dewdrop handled basket in ruby red. This beautiful glass large basket is 11 1/2 inches long and 10 1/2 inches wide. The basket stands about 9 1/2 inches high to the top of the handle. With a ruffled scalloped rim, this gorgeous glass basket has alternating vertical rows of round half balls and ridges. There are initials on the ends of the applied handle - J.D. which means that Jim Dunlavy was the glass finisher. The baskets were the only items that were permanently marked. The outside bottom has a fruit embossed design.
Tiara only sold the ruby red color for a couple of years in the early 1970s.
There are no cracks, chips or flakes.
