Whiting Sterling Silver & Copper Applied Mixed Metals Hammered Bowl Birds Fruit

An Aesthetic movement Sterling Silver & Copper mixed metals bowl made by The Whiting Manufacturing Co circa 1880.
The bowl measures 6 inches in diameter by 1 3/4 inches tall, and weighs 9.6 troy ounces.
The body of the bowl is hand hammered with an applied vine and bird, highlighted with copper fruit.
There is an engraved branch design and initials on the sides of the bowl.
The bowl is in very nice condition with the original patina.
The bottom is clearly hallmarked.
