photos, as they are an important part of my description. This football game between the
Gonzaga Bulldogs
and the
Idaho Vandals
was played on Oct. 13, 1939 in
Spokane, Washington
at
Gonzaga Stadium
. There are a total of sixteen (16) unnumbered pages, including both covers. Complete rosters for both teams are present inside the program, in addition to "probable starting lineups". Head coach for Gonzaga was
John Hunton
(aka Puggy Hunton);
Ted Bank
was man-in-charge for the Vandals (both coaches are pictured). There are
lots
of great photographs of players for both gridiron teams! There's also wonderful vintage advertising for the Spokane, Washington area as well. The program's back cover shows an ad for the Tidewater Oil Company (see 7th final photo). An outstanding and
scarce
piece of vintage football memorabilia!!

the program exhibits light-moderate paper tweaks/creasing, mainly confined to the covers; the interior pages are better! The binding is
solid
! The spine shows
no
separation, and the binding staples show
no
